Why Apple Home Decor?
Each member of our family has different attributes that make us special. When I think about the characteristics of my kids, for example, some of them always text or call me and let me know when they are running late. Some of them keep their rooms clean; some love to take risks and are good at picking themselves up when they fail. I love them all and each one makes me feel joy in a different way. None of my kids are alike.
Just like my kids, each season of the year has certain characteristics that define them. For example, when I think about summer, I think about warm sunny days, and sandy beaches. Autumn’s attributes are dominated by cool weather, and multi colored foliage.
The fall harvest is a big deal in our family. We have a small garden and October is spent harvesting all of the fruits and vegetables we have grown over the summer. When I think of the fall harvest, I think of apples. Then there are the holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving. This seems to be the season where families begin to decorate.
When I taught preschool for many years, my fall curriculum was dominated by apples. We read books about apples, we conducted simple science experiments around apples and we crafted using apples.
